"Now Art" is a term coined by damali ayo to describe her art practice. She defines it as work that is "immediate, accessible and engaging social issues."[1] In keeping with the immediate and accessible mandate, "Now Art" generally occurs outside of an institutional context and prioritizes social change above aesthetics and financial return.
